RECIPE: Vegan Reishi Golden Milk

Golden milk, also known as turmeric milk, is a common Indian Ayurvedic drink that has been gaining popularity in the West due to its many health benefits. Its beautiful bright yellow colour is a result of adding turmeric, along with spices such as cinnamon and ginger, to milk.

Qi Traditions has taken this time-honoured drink and added a modern twist. Here's our recipe for a delicious and nutritious Vegan Reishi Golden Milk created by Chef Abbie Gellman. 


2/3 cup almond milk (or any nut or plant-based milk)
2/3 cup coconut milk
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger

Whisk all the ingredients together to incorporate all the ingredients together. Keep at medium-low to medium heat and bring to a simmer. Pour, drink, and enjoy!
